ABOUT

Saxophonist, songwriter, vocalist and flautist Eve Lesedi was born in Manchester, grew up in Cornwall and Somerset and now resides in London. Her soulful, powerful voice along with her iconic gritty saxophone solos combine to create a truly unique sound. Her music is heavily influenced by funk, soul, pop and jazz. Her impassioned and progressive lyrics are an integral part of her original tracks, often creating juxtaposition with her upbeat sound.

Eve Lesedi began live performances at the age of 15 in venues local to her in Somerset. Since then, her music has taken her around the UK, performing at festivals and venues to audiences of up to 3000. Most recently, she was selected to perform at the prestigious 'Pilton Stage', performing in front of Michael Eavis (founder of Glastonbury Festival) who described her performance as "a bloody livewire", Chris Difford (leading member of 'Squeeze') and many other musical greats.
